About

My name is Mitch Graves and I’m the author of Rapid Ripped Abs and the writer of Fit With Mitch.

Fitness and transformation have always fascinated me and then I stumbled across this theory a few years ago as I observed life.  I saw that the principles of success in one area of life also applied to other areas.

I dubbed this the “Crossover Principle” and began using Fitness as a metaphor for other areas of life such as finances, relationships, education, etc.  Since then, I’ve developed what I call a “Fit Filosophy” – meaning to be “FIT” in every area of your life.  True life balance is what I think we all strive for.

So you can see that this blog is more than just fitness advice, but life advice.  As I incorporate this philosophy into more posts, my aim is to “transform people’s lives one rep at a time.”

Christianity is the driving force behind my life and fitness is the vehicle that I’ve been equipped to drive.

I’ve been working out for nearly 15 years in various sports.  I have two black belts in Tae Kwon Do and some experience in Capoeira.  I ran track throughout high school and college and even competed against Olympic athletes (it wasn’t really a competition – they left me in the dust, lol). I also did a little football in high school – but I watched mostly…

My fascination with lifting began because I’ve been such a small guy all my life.  I didn’t want to get fatter, so I put on muscle.  I got really serious in 2006 and packed on some serious muscle and haven’t looked back since.

I recently competed in my first fitness competition with the WBFF in their fitness model category.  I didn’t place, but it was a lot of fun and a learning experience.  I will be competing again.

I started training people back in 2010 and it’s quickly a passion of mine.

I like to be humorous and down to earth in all my posts, so expect frankness but the Truth at all times.

So that’s my fitness/transformational life in a nutshell.

I look forward to serving you,

Mitch
