The main part of any six pack ab training program are the exercises. There are a lot of exercises out there so it’s easy for your head to spin. But let me warn you against a few things to save you a lot of frustration and money.
1. Stay away from “six packs in a bottle”
You know, the things that say it’ll burn fat like crazy and get you ripped in no time with no effort. Sorry, but there are no shortcuts to washboard abs. Shortcuts only lead to frustration in this arena.
2. Stay away from ab only infomercial contraptions
These machines look nice, and I’ve even fallen for a few, but the models that are one the show DID NOT use that machine to get the midsection you see. It takes a lot more than just one “do it all” contraption to get a six pack. Again, shortcuts lead to frustration in this arena.
Getting great abs takes work, but if you work smart, you don’t have to work as hard. There’s no shortcut, but there is DEFINITELY a straighter path than what you’ve been told.
